So much to Say....

Hello, Everybody!  My apologies for my absence...I hosted a crop this past weekend and it was absolutely wonderful!  I'm hoping that my guests had as much fun as I did!  I definitely needed a couple days to recover, but had to get right into wedding decorations as the wedding is this weekend!  It has been crazy, but I thought that I would take a moment to post a 2 page layout that I had created some time ago...

This layout is a favorite of mine so I'm being very fussy as to what pictures I will be adding to it!  :-)
CTMH Supplies used ...
...cranberry, black, daisy white cardstock
...Documenting Moments Stamp Set (a favorite of mine for scrapbooking. Love it!!)
...gold and red shimmer trim
...gold polka dot washi tape (while supplies last, retired)
...cranberry and black ink
...bling that is retired, BUT the new and fantastic RED ENAMEL GEMS would look great!!!
ps...I learned this weekend at the crop, that you can color the clear sparkles with the awesome ShinHan alcohol markers and create the color of bling that you need.  Whoohooo!!!
...adhesive, including the 3D tape

**This layout is so easy to put together!  To do a Washi Tape "ribbon", first put it on a piece of daisy white cardstock and then cut it to form a "ribbon".

Thanks for looking!

ps...I thought that I would share a couple of my favorite pictures from the crop this weekend.  The crop was held with the intent to raise money for the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, with funds going to the radiation unit.  What a fantastic bunch of ladies!  Not only did we have a great time, but as a group we raised $1,300.00 plus !!!  Awesome!!  Enjoy the pictures and thank you everyone!!!
An amazing group of ladies!

My Amazing Upline, Trina and I!!

Some of my Family...

My helpers for the crop, my son, Tyler and daughter, Karly!

My husband, Bob, came in from the field for a photo op!!

**A person is so blessed to be surrounded by so many family and friends!!  Have a wonderful day!!

"Merry Everything!"

Happy First Day of Fall!!  I absolutely LOVE fall!  Love the colors, love the leaves, love the weather!  Not too hot, not too cold, just need a light jacket!!  I've been crazy busy doing everything but scrapbooking... helping a friend with decorations for a wedding and getting ready for a crop this weekend that I'm hostessing in our local community!  Super excited about that!!  I have a bit more work to do on the crop, but woke up this morning wanting to do a layout! Since it's the first day of fall, I figured what better time to show you a Christmas layout!  A 2 page one at that!!  I started off my morning with a CASE idea from Pinterest and came up with this...
CTMH Supplies Used:
...White Pines b&t paper pack
...White Pines complements
...Fern, white daisy and cranberry cardstock
...Red enamel gems
...Fern ink
...Fern thick twine
...mini stapler - Love it!!!
...scalloped border punch
..."Twinkle" Stamp Set (October SOTM) Get excited!!!
...Red shimmer trim

I'm actually very excited about this layout!  Super simple, clean, but actually a lot of what I feel is Christmas color...Red and Green!!  lol

Thanks for looking!

**Don't ask me why, but I absolutely LOVE the saying on these candy bags that I did up for the ladies attending my crop this weekend!  Thought I would share it with you as they were super easy to make.  The paper comes from the Georgie paper pack. The saying from the fun filled stamp set, Tasty Terrors. Don't forget about the Pixie extra thick twine! If you don't already have some twine, you really need to get some!  Love it!! It is a great add on to a project or a layout and it doesn't take up a whole lot of depth!!  And of course, love my thin 3D foam tape!
                                 Have an awesome day!!

A Two Page Layout!!

Hey, Everybody!  I can't believe that it has taken me so long to post again!!  I have been working on multiple projects that are not scrapbooking, so it has taken me forever to do the two page layout that I promised you and myself!!  This layout also had me stumped for a number of reasons...the pictures are elevators, with snow and in black and white.  I have always associated elevators with harvest, but there is no snow in harvest!  Hopefully!! lol  It has happened...

I started the week off with orange behind my photos and coral shimmer trim.  I like the white shimmer trim and white/black backing much better on the Slate CS. The title is stamped in black on white daisy, but inked imperfect for a more vintage feel.  The leaves, after being cut in white daisy, were embossed with the  woodgrain embossing folder and big shot.  To add a bit of color, I used the glacier extra thick twine to make two bows to add to the leaves.  I also used a couple of strips of washi tape (retired) on each page. I have yet to decide on my journaling, but will use the 'flags' for words like "standing tall, strong, formidable"... haven't decided. lol

"Cousins"

Hey, Everybody!  I hope that you have had a wonderful day!  I promise, I was working on a 2 page layout, but I'm waiting for my CTMH order to come in which has the Ink Blot stamp set in it that I really want to use on that specific layout so... I have another single layout for us to tide us over!  I do love how this layout turned out!!  As the picture has my two nephews and my daughter in it, I didn't want the layout to be too masculine or feminine.  Thank goodness for the grid paper in the Zoe pack! It was definitely the perfect pick.
 CTMH supplies used:
...1" circle punch
...pear and black cardstock
...white enamel stars
...retired bling (some is still available)
...fern thick twine
...Zoe Paper Packet
...3D tape to pop up the occasional circle for dimension

Thanks for looking!

First day of the Last year!

Hello, again!  I have been working on this layout for a little bit and am quite relieved to have completed it!!  lol  I must say that I am disappointed that I was unable to get the embossing along the right side of the layout to show up better...along the right side, I stamped with versamark and used gold embossing powder to enhance the vine stamp from the stamp set in the WOTG Sangria Scrapbooking Kit.  All the papers come from this same kit as well.  Cocoa, Champagne and the B&T papers.  The flowers along the vine were inked with champagne and edged with cocoa.  The flowers closest to the picture and around the title are once again, embossed with gold.  The title, I used champagne and edged with cocoa.  Again, I'm not sure if you can see it, but I sanded the edge of the cocoa paper to bring out the white core that it a love of the CTMH cardstock!!

I absolutely love this picture of our daughter, Karly. Standing on the road, waiting for the bus as she begins her last year of high school.  She can't wait to begin a "new road" in life!

A Saskatchewan Harvest (1)

Hey, Everybody!
I'm thinking that this is one of the layouts I'm not sure about...I like the simplicity of the page, but does it need more?  I love how the harvest photo stands out on the ctmh daisy white cardstock. I love the ctmh gold shimmer trim.  I love the ctmh kraft paper and the little bit of ctmh sangria.  The wheat sheaf stamp is a favorite from a long time ago, a Tim Holtz.  A must have for a farmer's wife.  The ctmh fern thick twine just adds something special.  Hmmm...

A Gathering with Zoe!!

Goodmorning, Everyone! It has been a crazy, busy time in this house, but I'm so excited to share the project that a group created at my house on Tuesday...I had my first ever gathering with an actual hostess!!  Super exciting!  We created the corporate recommended Zoe page as a group.  CTMH had a 5x7 on their page, and I chose to place 2, 4x6's there instead!  I love scrapbooking and sharing the many different 'methods' with my family and friends!!

A Rainy Day...

Hey, there!  It was a very rainy day here, so it gave me time to do many things!  I was able to play with a very fun layout today!  It really is just a fun layout!  With the rain having started yesterday, Tyler, Karly and my wonderful husband drove to Tisdale to have coffee at the fantastic "The Sweet Cup" on main street in Tisdale.  I am so spoiled!!  How many husbands would jump off of the combine and join his family for a coffee treat in a community 35 minutes away?  Mine!!  We had a great time!  Joking and laughing!  After, I of course, went to the local pharmacy and developed some great pictures and created this simple, but fantastic layout!!  I love CTMH's alphabet stamps for creating titles!!  The largest letters are from a retired stamp set from years ago and the other letters come from Glamour Lowercase and Handwritten Print! And the Owls from Frightfully Fun are most appropriate!!  Don't have any Washi Tape to match your layout?  Create your own with two stamps from Snapshot Memories.  This stamp set is a favorite of mine for scrapbooking.
I also needed a card for an upcoming birthday in our family.  Used the National Stamping Month stamp sets to create this single sheet card that will slide into our Lagoon Paper Bags, with a gift card attached to the back, for something just a little different.
**I just LOVE CTMH's Mini Stapler!!  So dainty, but so handy with a great reach!!
I know my picture taking might not be the best tonight, but I didn't want to wait until morning for natural lighting to share my creations!  Thanks for understanding.  :-)

Zoe and National Stamping Month!

As promised, I have a Zoe layout for you today! Zoe is a wonderful new paper pack from CTMH. Great colors and fun patterns! For this layout, I CASED (copy and share everything) from the new CTMH's Annual Inspirations, page 55. I absolutely love this layout, but I myself am a circle girl. As

you will begin to see with the layouts I do!!  I love a good circle punch and CTMH has a great 1"!

I have also added some of the Zoe Complements, which enhance the layout wonderfully! Plus, don't you just love the Coral Shimmer Trim? What an easy way to add a little bling to a page! Please keep in mind that any time you see a 5x7 photo (which I am addicted to right now), it is a great spot for two 4x6 pictures!! I have also left some room on the page for some journaling...because one of the girls in the photo is not a family member, I have chosen to journal after the picture!
**please note, that all the feathers were picked up after the photo shoot!! :-) A simple double layout, but I absolutely love it!!

Thanks for looking!

Friends...

What a beautiful day here! Should be outside mowing the lawn, but I've been distracted... surprise, surprise!  I have one more Sangria layout for you, then I'm moving on to Zoe. I promise!  Every month CTMH will be featuring a paper pack and for the month of September it's supposed to be Zoe. I really should get on with that. lol
For this layout, I tried really hard to get out of my box. The stamped images are once again from the Stamp of the Month, Paper Garden.  They are stamped with Sorbet, Poppy and edged (with a dauber) with Cocoa.  I also used this technique on the title which are letters from the Glamour Uppercase stamp set. The leaves are stamped with Fern, twice.  Ink your stamp, stamp image and re-stamp image without re-inking. Such an effective technique and so simple.Of course, don't forget about the fantastic poppy thick twine and the flower embellishments from the Sangria assortment.  Oh, yes, I must mention that the two larger flowers are on 3D tape for dimension! I just love how CTMH matches everything up for us!!

Thanks for looking!
